Umm I’m not from the States: I’m from Australia. No one here seems to give a rats arse about gay marrige: That is to say, it’s not really seen as a huge talking point politically or socially. I don’t really give a fuck myself. But I would like to take the opportunity to say that nearly everyone I know (all 5 of them) think this Prejean chick is about as retarded as a human being can become short of
sustaining massive head trauma. Like getting a panda-to-rape-your-ear-canal-level of retarded. Not to say she has trouble forming words: Clearly, as has been documented quite extensivley by now, she’s at least kind of normal. However, never has there been a more hypocritical, dense and generally unlikeable woman foisted onto the minds of people. Having Christian Ideals would tend to rather severly fuck with the logic by fisting yourself on tape for some mouth breather. And I’m sure Jesus had a line someone in one of the gospels about loving everyone equally as you would yourself. I think it was right between “bros before ho’s” and “baby you just witnessed the second coming…ready for the third?” I forget a lot of my bible studies, it was a long time ago.

…Dead Ed, if you’re serious about this, you’re a complete fucking idiot. I’m not going to even remotely try and argue your ludicrous points on liberals vs. conservatives, but I will say that Carrie Prejean is a dumb bitch. She’s not targeted simply because she’s a conservative woman, just like Palin wasn’t targeted because she’s a conservative woman. People criticized Palin because she A) Didn’t seem to know anything about ANYTHING (watch the Katie Couric interview. She couldn’t name a fucking newspaper that she reads.) and B) She said things that were plain bat shit insane.

Carrie Prejean now is being criticized not because of her view on gay marriage (which I disagree strongly with for reasons I won’t bother going into, but still respect as her right to believe) but because she’s a complete fucking hypocrite. She presented herself as standing for strong morals and not doing immoral things, things like taking naked photos of yourself and making videos of yourself masturbating to send to your boyfriend. Normally, I wouldn’t care if she did that at ALL, in fact, I’d encourage it, because she’s hot. HOWEVER, if someone presents his or herself as standing for morality and righteousness and purity, and she’s made videos of herself naked for her boyfriend, that’s hypocrisy, and that’s what people are attacking.
