To be honest I see this ‘debate’ as what is wrong with society today:
We idolise those that are considered ‘beautiful’ or any that are famous when I personally believe it is not what you can or what you look like that should be viewed as important but what you do with your time, I know people who don’t get paid much but give what they can to help those less fortunate than themselves. Yes some stars help charities but when you truly think about it someone who is giving 30% of their income to help someone is making more effort than someone who gives ten times the amount but has so much they’ll never miss it.
The way its this ‘debate’ has panned out is the second thing I find terrible about society in general, the disrespectful nature most have to each other no matter of race, religion or creed.
